FAMATEC Pneumatic Manipulators consist of a double jointed rigid balancing arm attached to either a steel post or on an overhead traveling bridge crane. the tooling system attached to the end of the balance arm are designed to do a specific function using mechanical amd pneumatic complnents to grip and manipulate a wide variety of products. The balance arm are balanced agains any load using a sensitive air operated servo control system which self adjusts to the component weight. Thus once a component is gripped, the operator can manoubver the head to any position without feeling any component weight. This is why this system is called a “Zero Force” system.
